We are always interested in hearing from new bands or solo artists. Send us your information if you are willing to donate your time to perform. We can't guarantee there will be room on this year's schedule, but it never hurts to ask.
We need 250 Volunteers to donate their time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday
Supervise activities. Skills include a love and concern for children, good "negotiation" skills, and an understanding that we share the Gospel with the kids by welcoming them warmly as Christ welcomed them. Activities include crafts, games, face painting/tatoos, and special performances by "kid-oriented" Christian entertainers. The crafts are easy and don't require artistic skills. You will be required to have a background check before you can help in this area.
Welcome folks to FaithFest and answer questions. There will be a resource book available with frequently asked questions and their answers, as well as quick access to folks who can answer questions for which you don't have an answer!
Pass out hot dogs, chips, pop, etc. to the crowd. Carry food from the kitchen to the trailer, restock the cooler, refill the condiments, and wipe off tables. Or work inside the trailer making Smoothies and filling orders. Skills include a willingness to serve, ability to work on your feet, and a smile on your face!
Help pick up trash and bottles and cans for recycling. Check and clean bathrooms and Porta-Johns.
For teens looking for service hours, we are happy to give you a volunteer form certifying your involvement. Just pick one up from the Volunteer Coordination Tent.
Have a skill not mentioned? Don't give up! Let us know what your talents are, and we'll probably find a spot for you! There are jobs both outside and inside. (By the way, there are a lot of jobs that don't require a great deal of mobility, so if you are physically challenged, we'd still love to have you. Facilities are all accessible, but if you have special needs, just let us know .)
Thank you for your interest in moving this ministry forward. Since there is no admission cost to attendees, our only source of financial backing is through tax-deductible donations. Any donation is gladly accepted, and no amount is too small. Even $5 or $10 is enough to help fund some part of the outreach. Email us for more information on how to donate money.
If you're interested in donating craft items, pop or paper products, email us and we'll provide you with an up-to-date list of current needs. Pick-up of items in the metro Detroit area can be arranged as well.
