RIGHT SIDE CAST - Right Side Cast is a Christian Rock band from Northwest Ohio. Formed in 2003, Right Side Cast combines the passion and talents of its four members, each with nearly a decade of experience in music ministry. Taking their name from John 21:6, "Cast your nets on the right side", Right Side Cast seeks to follow God's direction to share His message of Grace and Love through a unique musical experience, blending a variety of musical styles with personal testimonies and the life altering power of God's Word. RUFUS HARRIS has been the lead singer of Jubal and has shared the stage with such notables as the Wynans, Phil Keaggy, Daniel Amos, and Rez Band. He is multitalented as a sound engineer, producer, vocalist and adept at playing many instruments. The music he shares has elements of folk, rock, and jazz, all forged into a smooth pop format. His goal is to share the good news with songs that are a reflection of the spiritual lessons he has learned, songs that are both captivating and relevant. Rufus's newest CD is "How Do You Read It".
RHONDA HANSON is a bit of a recluse whose music is autobiographical and comes from a long friendship with "Father". From an earlier album, "Healing Of The Heart" a video of the single "If I Could Die" was produced by Matt Crouch and regularly aired on TBN's "Real Videos". Rhonda has spent many years in street ministry and has traveled over the country, one of her most memorable and personally rewarding times of ministry coming with an invitation to Keith and Melody Green's "Last Days Ministries", where she led worship, gave concerts and lectured on songwriting. Her recent project "Words And Music" was meaningful to her since Kelly Willard, Harlan Rogers and other friends from the 70s' "Jesus Movement" lent their talents and encouragement to it. A compilation of remixed titles from an older project, "Healing Of The Heart" and some recent songs have resulted in a new CD just released as "The Friend Of God". Rhonda hides out in the Tennessee woods, skillfully avoiding Nashville. In addition to songwriting, she is the author of the novel, "Father's Choice" and is presently at work on the third book in the "Father" series.
4-4-1 - This group comes from the eastern suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. They have been playing together informally for about 2 years, recently they have started appearing at coffee houses and churches in the Cleveland area. Much of their music is written by Rosann Carson and Terry Vodicka, inspired by God. They have been blessed to have found a sound and style that seems to fit them and pray that it is pleasing to Him. "We welcome every chance that comes our way, to lift His name with our voices and instruments."

RON ARNOLD has been a musician for over 30 years, and today "I sing for the Lord". His early music career took him to the Grand Ole Opry as Little Jimmy Dickens' drummer. Addictions and medical issues have contributed to some dark days in his life, but God saw Ron through. He was once away from music for over 10 years, but then was led to Calvary Reformed Church. God gave him his life and music back and now he's dedicated his singing to praise and glorify his Lord. Come hear his testimony and music!

THE CHERRY HILL BROTHERS - The Cherry Hill Brothers have been performing together for over 18 years. Named for where they got their start at Cherry Hill Baptist Church in Dearborn Heights, this quartet of Bob and John Szymanski, Joe Bummett and John Porter presents an endearing style of gospel with barbershop overtones that is an uplifting ministry that they enjoy sharing. The group had local radio programs in the 1980s on WEXL AM and WSPD FM which required them to learn three new songs each week. This created a very close and special bond. The original group included Kelly Brummett whom the Lord called home last year to sing tenor in His choir. John Porter is the recent replacement for Kelly, assisting in keeping this ministry of song moving. The group has just finished recording a new CD called "#1".

AliSPYO - A five piece band blending several styles of music, trying to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through music. "Many of us, after experimenting in the secular world of music, were left unfulfilled. We realized we were called to do something greater for the glory of God."
NOT OUR OWN - Not Our Own is an Adult Contemporary group comprised of Chris & Jenny Kokenos, a husband and wife duo from Livonia~ Michigan. Their involvement with Christian music has spanned over twenty years and includes being members of several worship teams & music groups and even having a family band for a while. They perform mostly original music along with select classic & popular songs as well.
RACHANEE - From an early age, Rachanee loved music and performing. After becoming a Christian in college, she discovered a new world of music. As a worship leader, friends challenged her to write her own material. But it wasn't until heartbreak hit her during her senior year that she began writing songs in earnest. Rachanee has been compared to "Michelle Branch [and] Christian artist Jennifer Knapp, [with] a voice that can sound like Natalie Merchant" (Noise, Oct. 2003). Her music has a guitar driven pop/rock feel; her heartfelt lyrics appeal to any audience. Although Rachanee just came on the independent music scene in 2003, she hasn't been idle. That year, she released her EP "Chosen Path," which she wrote, distributed and co-produced. In 2004 she released her first full-length LP, "Ordinary Girl."

GOODWEN - Is a six member group from Middleton, Ohio that plays "progressive horn rock". The musical style is broad-based due to the diverse tastes of the group. The sound can move from heavy to soft. There are those who mistake Goodwen for a Ska band because they have a trumpet and sax. Most assuredly, they are not. The band is all Christian but do not want to be viewed just as Christian entertainers; theirs is a ministry to share the message of hope through Jesus Christ.
OUTTA THE BELLY - Providing original alternative folk music since the early part of 2000, Outta The Belly has been busy playing for churches, coffee houses, schools, festivals and other outdoor events, bookstores, youth events, prisons, homeless shelters and has even played on the steps of our capitol in Lansing for a Youth Suicide Prevention Campaign. Outta The Belly offers a unique sound of original music that has been compared to as Jennifer Knapp meets Sheryl Crow meets Natalie Merchant. You will find Amy on the acoustic guitar, playing her one and only Taylor guitar and Rachel mixing it up on her keyboard.

KINDRED NATION The members of this group have shared the stage with many nationally known musicians and have received air play on many of Detroitıs radio stations. This is their first year performing together and their sound is phenomenal. They are presently in the studio and hope to have their debut CD available by FaithFest. Though they come from different churches they are of one accord in their desire to let Jesus shine through their music.
CROSSFIRE - is energetic Christian rock with a modern feel. "Our goal is not only to play music that glorifies the Lord, but also to make it something a non-christian would listen to and, in the process, win another soul for Christ." Borrowing from years of musical experience, this band is made up of Joe Czentnar (electric guitar), Ross Ciongoli (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Doug Johnson (bass), and Kenny Morse (percussion).
BROTHERS CHRIS & DEAN are a vocal duo from Highland/Commerce Michigan. They sing a blended style of music. You will hear original songs written by Chris, Inspirational, Southern Gospel and Christian Music Classics. They will bring a generous dose of family harmony while lifting up the name of Jesus our Savior and encouraging believers in their walk with Christ.

BOB ETZEL - Bob Etzel is from Ypsilanti, Michigan. He has been singing since he was 2 years old. God has called him and his wife Julie into the ministry. Their goal is to reach the lost and bring encouragement to God's people. From singing Gospel Music and speaking to using Bible stories with balloons they are able to accomplish this. They are a faith-based ministry, which means, "Where God guides, He provides". They will go wherever, whenever GOD calls them.

SOLOMON'S REQUEST - When you see the energy bolting forth from their live act and you feel the power and tenacity being unleashed upon you in the form of raging vocals, razor-sharp guitar riffs, and rock melodies that refuse to be jarred from the playbacks of your mind, you will come to realize that SOLOMON'S REQUEST is a rock band to be reckoned with, and that they are your band. No frills, hammer-to-the-anvil, meat and potato style rock and roll. PAUL McKENZIE - is the Director of Contemporary Arts at First Presbyterian Church in Trenton, Michigan. He has performed at FaithFest for many years both in drama and music. He will be performing a Biblical dramatization in full costume and also will perform original music from his many CDs, ranging from scripture put to music, hymns, and "Heavensongs". He performs regularly in the downriver area both in drama and music. He is also the leader of the group Providence, who is also performing at FaithFest.
DOUBLE PORTION - Pastor and founder of Warrior Ministries, Pastor Jack Yeager works with his congregation to help those in need in Monroe, Carleton and the surrounding areas, as well as working with a prison ministry. Pastor Yaeger is also a songwriter and plays 12-string and 6-string acoustic guitar. Says Pastor Yaeger, "One thing I guarantee is that the music will glorify the name of Jesus. I don't believe in a vague message....Jesus Rocks!" This is his third year at FaithFest. He is looking forward to the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit on all the people in attendance. Pastor Jack is with Warrior Ministries which continues to grow in spiritual strength and numbers. "Let's come together and worship with all our being."

PHOTO 7 - The Lord called Paul Bonfiglio to put together a band to play outside of churches. After a few attempts of trying to form a band and not being successful at it, he kept praying about it. After some time, a great line-up was formed. This group is combined from two churches; Northridge in Plymouth, Michigan and ROC in Northville. Both churches have outstanding Praise & Worship groups and an awesome passion to serve the Lord. The music is high energy pop/rock with beautiful vocals. Influences include Rebecca St. James, Lincoln Brewster, Hillsong (Darlene Zschech), Chris Tomlin, Joy Williams and Erin O'Donnell.

DAN THURBER - Pastor Dan Thurber is the founding pastor of the Blessed Hope Christian Church in Lincoln Park, Michigan and has been playing music for some twenty five years. While he used to make his living playing professionally in the night club circuit around the Detroit area, for the past twelve years he has offered all of his songs and talents back toward their rightful place, to God. Pastor Dan's music is very message oriented, as he sees music as yet another way to reach out to people with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.
SHOUT - Back for year six is the acapella group SHOUT. This is one group that should not be missed. It was formed in 1998 with members Art Sarkkinen, Dan Drouillard, Dave Drouillard, and Willy Scott. With over 50 years total experience between them, they are a must to be heard. Their influences include barbershop, doo-wop, pop and rock and roll. SHOUT with joy all the earth ! HEAVENSOWN - Joining FaithFest for their seventh year is HeavenSown, a favorite in southeast Michigan. Put 5 guys together that grew up with influences as diverse as: Aerosmith, Henry Mancini, the Four Seasons, Styx, Monty Python, Boston, Saturday Night Live, and more recently Veggie Tales and Petra. Throw in some Marshall amps, drums and a whole bunch of instruments; put God right smack dab in the center, and you've got HeavenSown. With a combined 50 years professional performance between them, having collectively toured in the U.S and Europe and having opened for Ted Nugent, they each realized where the talent came from, and what they needed to be doing with it. The Lord is served well by their ministry. They will have tapes and CDs will be available.
ALL FOR ONE - is a group of solid songwriters and musicians brought together to spread the word of God. This will be their second year as a band appearing at FaithFest, and various member of the group have played there since 1999. No strangers to performing, they bring years of musical experience to the stage with numerous original songs, and a few of your old favorites as well.
JEAN MEHI - is a Christian songwriter and singer who has been a lifelong resident of the downriver area. For nearly three decades she has been composing and singing her music in coffeehouse venues and churches. Although at one time she performed in a popular secular rock band, when she gave her life to the Lord, she dedicated and devoted herself and her music to glorify God. Jean's passion and first love is worship; she has been a worship leader for over twenty years, first in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and for the last fourteen years at New Life Christian Church. Through songs of personal reflection, story-telling, worship and outright praise, her gift of composing music and singing has touched many hearts for years. Jean is in the process of recording a CD at Multi-Media Recording Studios in Detroit.

CURRY CHRISTIAN SINGERS is the new name for a much-requested group, The Curry Family Singers. They are back for their 8th year at FaithFest. They are charter members of the Festival having performed at the very first meeting. They began in 1966 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Ecorse. They performed for the Spanish Mass there and for weddings and other events. The family is now very involved with music at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Woodhaven. They play and sing to the Lord with heart felt devotion. Their style is Hispanic and will not be duplicated by any other group at FaithFest.

SIMON PC FROST - has lived and played guitar all over the world, and has now (at least for the foreseeable future) settled in Arizona with his wife and two children. Something of a child prodigy, he played in semi-professional jazz bands at the tender age of only fourteen. His keen ear for harmonies, and his delicate picking style have carried him forward musically for more than three decades, working with many 'names' both in concert and in studio. In more recent years, after being rescued by Christ, there has been a change in the spirit of Simon's music, that he trusts will bring glory to God, an opportunity for the ministry of Christ's Truth, and an atmosphere of peace and worship. Simon's quote for the day: "God gave us music, that we might pray without words."
MARK REITENGA - Mark Reitenga has been playing his unique brand of Folk Rock in Metro Detroit since 1988. With selections from America to Van Morrison Mark has entertained crowds at local restaurants, clubs, music festivals and private engagements. Mark performs in an energetic, acoustic musical style that delivers an intimate vibe. Fans of Mark's music appreciate his "welcome to my living room" atmosphere and his musical storytelling ability. BARNEY BETKA - Barney is a singer/songwriter who plays an aggressive acoustic guitar style that is hard to catagorize. His guitar techniques have been influenced by Phil Keaggy, Michael Hedges, Pierre Bensusan, Ben Harper and Billy McLaughlin. His song writing style has been influence by Sting, Twila Paris and Larry Normann (to name a few). He is a performer who loves to engage the audience with his unique guitar style. Using a "jam man" to loop multiple layers of percussion and melodic rhythms, finger tapping and slapping, people end up wondering "How did he do that?" His music will move the listener.
FACE DOWN - John May (Face Down) uses a unique combination of divine inspiration, life experience and his unique God-inspired ability in all his material. His style would be classified as heavy acoustic/very emotional. Luke 17:12-19
ERIC & POLLY RAPP - If you liked the music in the movie "0 Brother, Where Art Thou?" chances are you'll enjoy the music of Eric and Polly Rapp. Old-time country, gospel, and folk tunes are the backbone of their repertoire, performed with acoustic guitar, mountain dulcimer, and lots of good old-fashioned harmony. Eric's original songs, wryly humorous or a thoughtful take on life, love, work, and faith complement the mix.
Terry & Diane McCabe - have had many years experience in the music field, in many aspects and settings. They decided in 2001 to embark on a new adventure by going the "acoustic" route. They perform in churches, bars, festivals, coffeehouses and anything in between! Diane McCabe describes their music as "Folk meets Rock, with a dash of Blues and Celtic. Shake Well and it serves many!"
DAN AND REBA KONOFF - Dan and Reba Konoff perform an Acoustic Folk style Praise and Worship. Dan plays the acoustic guitar and sings thunderous lead vocals that will shake the foundations of your soul while Reba gently adds angelic harmonies that both soothe the heart and calm the mind. God has blended the two of these talents together to create one awesome, must-hear power house duo. This couple performs from the heart, out of love and passion for the music, but more importantly out of their love and desire to spread the message of hope and salvation which can only be found in Jesus. CRONIES - started out as three guys on a mislead path with a self-centered focus to be professional musicians. "However, God had a different plan. Failing to make anything happen, these guys ended up in a church doing a worship service in 1999. After singing songs of hope, they ended up falling on their faces before Christ, meeting their creator for the first time and starting a relationship with a God, who became their best friend. Now with a God centered focus their music has been redirected as well as their personal lives. In 2001 this group became Cronies. They started writing their own music and performing at other venues. They were called to seek the lost through their music.
JOHNNY EDWARDS - is a newcomer to the gospel music industry. Johnny started after feeling a call from the Lord to minister in song to God's people. All of Johnny's songs are God-given and a testimony of the ministry God has given him. He serves as praise and worship leader at Working For The Lord Ministry, Church of New Beginning in Wyandotte, MI. He has a CD titled "God Knows Your Heart". All songs are God-given and inspired. They are a testimony of the ministry God has given him.

BROTHER STONE - is the Overseer of Christ Like Ministries, a mission he shares with his wife Lisa. Sheldon "Brother Stone" Grace has been a part of Christian Rap ministry for years sharing his gift with the Detroit Public Schools Prevention Strategy Program, A.C. CHILDREN OF CHRIST - Missing from Faithfest for a couple of years, The Children Of Christ are no strangers to most of us. From the tiny voices to the thundering vocals, these five ladies with help from and the direction of R. C. Williams have found a place in our hearts. Christine Thompson, Andrea Newberry, Regina Jemison, Linda Williams, R. C. Williams and the newest member, Joy Callaway who brings with her a voice that will give you a two hanky experience will lift you from your lowest or highest points and take you higher. Most of the songs are written by R. C. Williams and most, if not all, are memory burners. Clap your hands, sing along, sit and smile or yell out 'You Go Girl!' as they bring the word in song. JAZZPEL - Disheartened by the narrow-minded thinking of some of his contemporaries, R. C. Williams decided he would nevertheless do what he was called to do; to dip the world, one piece at a time, into the fragrant pot of love which is music. "All music belongs to God," he states. "Only the lyrics and spirit of the song make a difference between the good or bad of it!". R. C. went on to coin the phrase "Jazzpel" and began very carefully choosing a base group. With a solid drummer (Dave Fair) and a long experienced Motown Session bassist (Walter Calloway), he began to build what will surely be a solid foundation for a moving group which gives praise to God through instrumental and lyrical songs. Adding vocalists or other musicians as needed, including backing The Children Of Christ, JAZZPEL pushes out straight ahead Jazz, Gospel and a mixture of the two that sprouted the name. dedicated to spreading the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through music. We
perform at any type of event from a Sunday service to a full concert venue.
Although we are a rock band, our music is very diverse and includes praise and
worship as well as thought provoking ballads. The beginnings of Looking Up go
back as far as 15 years ago when drummer, Blaine Thiel, and guitarist, Richard
Engle began playing together. The addition of bassist, Bob Bolton, several
years later would solidify the core of the band. The last member, singer and
guitar player Kevin Brown, would join the band over 4 years ago forming the
band that is today known as Looking Up.
LEAH MARTENSEN - "What I'm Not" is culmination of Leah's journey in this musical venture called ministry. She has always struggled with why God would want to use her. Her heart for service and passion for working alongside churches is untold, offering them the tools to equip their congregations. They in turn can step outside the church doors and into the community, using the talents God has given them to influence others that they may get to know Him. Leah understands God-given talents are different for everyone and the degree to which God has called each of us to use them is certainly different for each of us. The struggle with her perception of her own musical talent and where God wanted her was the biggest challenge for her ministry. The title song on her third album "What I'm Not" tells the story of, well... what Leah isn't.
MIKE REESE - The key verse that describes Mike's ministry is found in the first chapter of Romans, verses 11 and 12. Where Paul says, "I long to see you that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong - that is that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each others faith". Mike's lyrics and musical style reflect the influences of the Christian artists that he grew up in Christ with: Randy Stonehill, Mark Heard, Larry Norman, Keith Green and Rez band. His desire is to encourage the body of Christ to live for Him through life's day to day battles! In his music, Mike tries to do this in part by pointing out the weaknesses in the "sacred cows" of our society. By revealing these inconsistencies with humor and insight, he hopes to strengthen and comfort the church. Then we can continue to have confidence in Jesus rather than be intimidated by ideas, philosophies and practices that at first glance often appear to be powerful and valid challenges to the truth of the Gospel.
MARK MURETISCH - All of his life Mark has been involved in different aspects of music and music ministry. Experience as a secular musician, coupled with his participation in contemporary worship groups for nearly 30 years, drew him to contemporary Christian music exclusively. Since 1990, Mark has performed with different Christian musical groups and also as a solo artist. Much of the music performed were original compositions, that expressed his personal experiences, Scripture, and his faith.
KRISTAL - Her music is a collaboration of many styles, She is unwilling to label Its sound because "all music belongs to the Lord, it was created by him and for the express purpose of glorifying his name. Joining the roster of many great Christian and secular artists, she knows what her mandate is. Her mandate is reaching souls of the lost for the Kingdom of God, and igniting the Body of Christ to become a church without walls. The Word of God is her lyrical inspiration and motivation. Kristal is taking the Word of God to the streets without compromise. Her debut CD, self entitled "Kristal" is a musical experience you won't forget.
THEO TUCKER - has been singing and performing in since the early age of eight. He was known throughout his high school as an excellent writer and a human "beat box", always providing on-the-spot beats and rhythms for local rappers. It wasn't until he heard the single "I Am", by The Cross Movement, one of gospels' hottest hip-hop artists, that God revealed to him that he had a gift. After rapping over several Cross Movement and Gospel Gangsta songs, he began to write his own material. In May of 1999, he wrote a song called, "Who Are You With?" The song was well accepted in his community but he never recorded it. When asked why, Theo simply said, "I was never thinking about making CDs or anything like that, I just wanted to rap for God, and hopefully impact someone's life that heard me."
TROY MICHAEL - is a singer and songwriter who exalts the Lord! Born in Pontiac, MI. USA, his goal in life is to simply do what God has called him to do. Musically gifted at an early age, Troy Michael started playing the guitar at the age of 12 and the piano at the age of 15. At that time he created his first song, "Stop Search'n, Child" and performed it in Church.
DANIEL PIERCE - At age 12 Daniel began taking guitar lessons and discovered his love for music. During his college years in Los Angeles, California he studied classical guitar. That was short lived however, for that same year he was drafted as a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and began his career in professional baseball. With not much to do on those long road trips, Daniel began to read the Bible for hours on end. He would soon accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. This became a life-changing experience as he conformed to his new life as a Christian. Upon ending his career as a professional baseball player, Daniel headed back to Toledo where he became grounded in a wonderful church. Daniel continued to play his guitar, while also taking piano lessons and writing his own original songs. His dreams were then focused on being a witness to others through the gift of music.
4LIFE - 4Life is a Christian rock band out of Downriver Michigan. Mixing driving rhythms with harmonizing vocals, 4Life has something for everyone. Their purpose is to deliver the Word of God to people who may not get to hear it. 4Life members include Dave Baker (Guitar/Vocals) Mark Turner (Lead Guitar) Kelly O'Malley (Lead Vocals) Justin Thomas (Bass Guitar) Ron West (Drummer), and Doug Golema (Percussion). With a mix of Christian Rock, Praise, and original music, 4Life brings a solid Christian message with a rock concert attitude.

SOUGHT OUT - is a contemporary Southern gospel band with an annointed three-voice harmony and blessed instrument players. The group has been together for six years and recorded a CD in 2000 and played at Faithfest in 2001 and 2002. The next two years were slow for the group, but they are back at Faithfest for 2005. Sought Out consists of Diana Rushing of Taylor on lead vocals, Ron Kelly of Taylor on bass, Tim Singleton of Lincoln Park on drums and vocals, and Brian Thompson of Wayne on piano/keyboard and vocals. Sought Out is here to praise the Lord and be a blessing!

DAUN-TE - Add a seed of faith, a dash of gift, a cup of anointing, a plate of God's Word and you will have Daun-te, a man of God that is willing to do whatever God has for him to do, releasing deep intimate worship songs like "Be The Man You Want" and not holding back with songs like "I Give God Praise", "7 Times" and "What Is Love". This native of Saginaw, Michigan has climbed many high mountains and crossed many low seas to have a relationship with God, a relationship that reflects holiness, uprightness, steadfastness and an unmovable kind of faith. Daun-te was blessed to assist recording artists Rance Allen, Commission and Douglas Miller. In addition, he was an opening act for Vickie Winans. With this experience, Daun-te will continue to travel and spread the Word of God on the Te & Je Music label in support of his new CD and DVD entitled "A New Start".
BINDING FAITH - is a five member band that enjoys music and wants to worship GOD. Their songs are mostly original. They also perform some traditional hymns, done in their own style. This allows them to express themselves to Him. They are brothers in music and in worship, and they hope to reach at least one person with His message, through their music.
BOOKER'S BRIDGE - is a Contemporary Christian music husband-wife duo from Columbia City, Indiana. As songwriters and artists, Scott and Christy Booker use thought provoking verses charged with strong choruses to lead the listener through an emotionally moving and memorable musical journey. Christy's smooth inspirational voice and style combined with Scott's pop/rock guitar rhythms make for a pleasingly unique sound that reaches out to captivate many generations. Booker's Bridge has just completed their first CD, "The Simple Truth". Writing their own original simple songs of Contemporary Christian music, Booker's Bridge takes you to the presence of God through their love and passion of Jesus Christ living in them. Wanting to bridge others to this priceless treasure of knowing God and how to continue to worship and praise Him through the pain and joy of everyday simple things is their soul felt calling. Booker's Bridge's goal is to continue to seek and find more and better ways of communicating the life changing gospel story of Jesus Christ to the world.
BETHANY ESTERMYER - Born and raised in Ypsilanti, MI, Bethany Estermyer has centered her life in Christ and in serving His church. Active at Antioch Baptist, she has felt called to full-time ministry for several years and is now attending Liberty University to study worship and music in preparation for that ministry. Bethany performs contemporary Christian music in the style of Avalon and Rachel Lampa, for example. She has also cut her first CD. We look forward to Bethany's debut at FaithFest.

INDY UNITED - The role of this group is to entertain people's minds, win their hearts, and encourage their souls. They do this by creating music that is encouraging, true, uplifting, tasteful and catchy. The most important part, however, is their personal interaction with those they meet. "With God's help we can understand how much He really loves and cares about other people. With an obedient and humble heart, we can respond by reaching out and shining the light of Jesus for all to see. We are all about these things, honesty in relationships, love in action & word for everyone, even those we want to hate and humility."
CROWN OF THORNS - is a contemporary praise and worship team from South Rockwood United Methodist Church. Their goal is to provide an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of the Lord. Through lively music and hearts that are on fire for Jesus, this band inspires and uplifts all who hear them.
WAXED BOLD - Their name is derived from Acts 13:46, "Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly". The band was started in 2004 by Tom Karr. Their mission is to encourage and reach unbelievers through music; to have them make a decision to serve Jesus Christ.
EDIKT GROOV - Fresh and like no other! Edikt Groove is an open mix of soul and hip-hop with a gospel feel to it. Edikt Groov's sound is eclectic, self-proclaimed Organic Hip-Hop. The lyrical content is Word rich, a neo-soul vibe; the special ingredient is the brilliant mix of sounds from nature. The vision; to touch the world through music while upholding the fundamentals that Jesus saves.
TWIN OAKS CHRISTIAN CHURCH - led by Emery Sears Jr., has been providing worship music for their home church and various ministry events throughout Downriver. The music performed at FaithFest is the same you can expect to hear every Sunday at their church. "It is our goal to provide a worship experience that glorifies the name of Jesus Christ and is relevant to our culture."

ANGIE WILLIAMS & KIDS COUNT - "God Loves You" is the key message from "Kids Count Music", aimed at kids ages 3 to 9. From Ontario, Angie will keep everybody's toes tapping, and there are chances for audience participation in skits, action and puppets. A choir director and music educator, with a long history of bringing the message of God's love to children through music, Angie has fun, original songs enjoyed in churches, festivals and camps. Buying the CD "Wish I Could Fly" sends 50% of the proceeds toward "Generation Now Ministries" for work with children in Ontario. Angie's latest CD "Ketchup & Mustard" is also available. STICKS N STONES - Rising from the ashes of the secular music scene, Sticks N Stones formed in 2004 as one of the newest Christian bands in the metro Detroit area but these musicians are not new to music. The members of this band are Louis Margitan, Dominic Margitan, Jami Margitan, Doug Johnson and' Joe Czentnar and are well-seasoned musicians with a love for Jesus Christ beyond anything else. Sticks N Stones brings together friends and family members who, at one time or another, have played in secular bands with each other over the years. This time however, there is another member by the name of JESUS CHRIST. "He's got to be in the middle of it or none of this matters. Our secular songs used to have 'a message', but now the songs have THE MESSAGE; the only one that matters 'Jesus...and Him crucified!' The music is simply the tool that we use to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we love doing it. We're not perfect but we are forgiven and we want to share that message with the world. We pray that the music will encourage the hearts of those who already know the Lord, and for those Who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, we pray that it will create in them a desire to learn more about Him and the salvation He offers. DERON 5L - The name Deron 5L "Feivel" is a unique pen name since many of his songs are story-like. Those two names "Deron" and "Feivel" have a faith-based meaning. You can look the names up in a baby name book or online to find the meanings. If you listen closely, you may discover the music to be personal enough to know that it comes from the soul. "Music expresses my soul the best way I know" Deron says. Deron 5L performs Alternative Acoustic Rock with a Southern feel. His music has dynamic vocals and powerful lyrics that can be felt beneath the surface. He uses the music as a way to touch, heal and move people. MICHAEL D BAND - is Michael D, a singer/songwriter performing solo acoustic and is the Michael D Band with bass, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, and drums. Soulful lead vocals, from pop/rock to R&B feel with a solid groove. Some tour experience includes Australia, Russia, West Indies, and in USA. The band has nearly 50,000 plays on MP3.com. FAMILY TREE - is truly a blessing from God. JP, who has performed solo at FaithFest for the last three years, is joined this year by sons John and Dan. All three are members of the praise and worship team at Morningstar Church in Garden City, Michigan. The mood of the music may change from acoustic country-folk to a full on rock trio, but the message remains the same through the grace of our Savior Jesus Christ, who suffered and died on the cross. TIM MURPHY After years of striving for national success on the secular stage that led to abuses, isolation and lack of fulfillment, Tim and his wife moved to Monroe Michigan in 1989 and Tim gave his heart to Jesus. Since his conversion, Tim's service to the Lord has included leading worship at Our Redeemer Baptist Church, (as well as other churches in Monroe) youth pastor and leading various home fellowship groups. Tim also provides music ministry as acoustic solo and with different combinations of band members.Ê In 1996, Tim released "Off The Wheel", a combination of classic rock and worship music. Currently Tim serves as Associate Pastor and Worship leader at Grace Christian Fellowship in Monroe.

THE BAGWELLS - This mother and daughter duo (with help from friends) are FaithFest's own facepainting and balloon creation team! Every year, they arrive to lend their talents to making sure that FaithFest kids have a big time! Come enjoy their creativity!
MARK & DESIREE MERKEY - are married with 2 wonderful girls. They have been involved with the with praise team "Celebration" at First Presbyterian Church for 7 or 8 years now and will be performing with the band again this year at Faithfest. They both sing and Mark plays guitar as they lead the congregation into worship on Sunday mornings. Mark has written a number of songs that have been used for the contemporary worship service that stylistically range from hymns to contemporary Christian. This year they will perform at Faithfest as a duet for the first time singing primarily original music in an acoustic, coffee house style venue. Lord willing, there will be CD's available with original music that can be used for the glory of God and bless those who enjoy the music.

RED HANDED - is a high energy Christian rock band with a passion for today's youth. Their influences range from Lifehouse to 12 Stones with a large Foo Fighters undertone. More recently inspiration has come from bands such as Number One Gun and Mourning September. The band began in May of 2003 but really took shape in April 2004 upon the return of singer and guitarist Andy Rosko from a six month stay in Nairobi, Kenya. In February 2004. Andy and bass player Jeff Tarkiewicz met drummer Tim Martinovich. The three instantly developed a chemistry that led to a burst of song writing. In June of 2004 the band entered Arcadia studios to record their debut EP which was released on August 9th of 2004. Redhanded has experienced great success in the last year together opening for bands such as Sanctus Real, Kids in the Way, and Mourning September, 38th Parallel, eLi, and Olivia. They have played at a variety of venues including Joe's Java, The Eclipse and The Attic. The band was recently signed to a production deal with Fidelity Entertainment and is currently the band is working on new material for an upcoming CD. The band has a definite ministry focus as it tries to connect to its listeners with lyrics and testimony, as well as living examples of lives dedicated to Jesus Christ.
